Glen Clova and Loch Brandy, Scotland

When my friend from Canada came to visit me in Scotland, we visited Glen Clova which is around a 45 minute drive from where I live in Dundee. I had always wanted to go but just never got around to it.

Glen Clova is a valley in the Angus region of Scotland with a huge loch (Loch Brandy) in the middle. There are 5 other glens within close proximity but this is the one that stood out to me after a friend showed me pictures of her trip there.

The climb begins directly behind the Glen Clova Hotel and it was a really tough journey (maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad if we weren’t so unfit, ha ha). It was a continuous, steep uphill walk for around 45 minutes but it was so, so worth it. Here are some of my pictures from our trip.
