Handing In My Notice

I handed in my notice to my boss this week and everything is suddenly starting to feel so real. It’s only FOUR weeks until I go back to Canada on a one way flight. That is crazy!

Last year was when I quit the job I’d had since I was 16 and it was terrifying. I was scared of what was to come. I’m sure you can relate to how scary leaving ‘security’ and comfort is. But this time I handed in my notice with a huge smile on my face- not knowing what’s going to happen makes me feel so excited now. Rather than seeing it as the end of something I’m seeing it as the beginning of something even better. Another learning experience and lots of blessings to come I’m sure.

After handing in my notice I realised that I have nowhere as much money as I’d planned to have and I don’t even have much of a plan together for when I arrive in Canada. But as ever I just have that little feeling inside that tells me everything’s going to be OK. And that feeling always seems to be right.

I know that this is going to be such an amazing journey and I can’t wait to share what happens.
